Although he was leading by a full point going into the round, Yury Shulman was not content to coast. He scored a full point against Julio Becerra with Black, in a wild Winawer that finished on a pretty note:

Anna was on a perfect 5/5 going into the round, but suffered her first loss to Batchimeg Tuvshintugs. 1965 Meanwhile, Irina Krush defeated Chouchanik Airapetian's King Indian Defense with the Four Pawns Attack.
