Hikaru Nakamura, Alexander Onischuk and Ray Robson advanced to round two in the World Cup in Tromso, Norway (August 11-September 5)

In round two, Onischuk will face Leinier Domínguez Pérez of Cuba while Robson will play Vasilly Ivanchuk (Ukraine). Nakamura plays the winner of a tiebreak match between Eltaj Safarli of Azerbaijan and Egypt's Bassem Amin.

US Champion Gata Kamsky and runner-up Alejandro Ramirez head to tiebreak playoffs tomorrow.
