thumb_314896main_image_1291_428-321.jpgThe late, Great One, Jackie Gleason, used that phrase at the beginning of his TV variety show.  Later, "A little traveling music, Sammy!" was added.

Both phrases are appropriate for Earth's choice, 34 ... a4, and for Astronaut Greg Chamitoff's response, 35.Ke1.  The astronaut may have to do a little more traveling - not as far as the 210 miles he traveled into space, but he will have to do a little shuffling in order to stop the a-pawn.

While we wait for our Wizards from Washington to respond with at least a couple of choices for Earthlings to consider, you can use the chess viewer (via the link at the right) to play through different variations on your own.
