FM Michael Langer and IM Michael Mulyar both have perfect 4-0s in the traditional schedule of the U.S. Open in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Meanwhile, the competition has heated up with 198 competitors including 12 titled players joining in for the 6-day. Among the participants include top-seed IMs Ben Finegold and defending champ Enrico Sevillano and GMs Sergey Kudrin, Jesse Kraai and Dmitry Gurevich.
