In round seven of the 2009 U.S. Chess Championship, GMs Hikaru Nakamura, Gata Kamsky, Alexander Onischuk and GM-elect Robert Hess won on the first four boards and now are tied for the lead. See how in the video recap. Also see round eight pairings here , and remember that Friday, May 15 is a rest day. Play will resume on May 16, Saturday at 11 AM local time, Noon EST. Remarkably, there were 11 out of 12 decisive games in round 7 of the Championship. As players race toward the 35K first prize, we should expect to see more ruthless fights.
