Nalchikslide.jpgGata Kamsky, America's highest ranked GM, scored in round 9 against Alexander Grischuk of Russia after three losses in the Nalchik Grand Prix (April 15-30) . Kamsky came back from his slump in characteristically marathon fashion: the game was over 100 moves! Update 4/29: After this win, Kamsky drew his final three games while Levon Aronian won clear first by a full point. Check out complete final standings, plus games, interviews and videos on the official homepage.

Here are Gata's two disappointing losses from rounds 7 and 8. Can he continue to rebound after his nice win today?
