So you can recognize chess players' faces or moves, but can you recognize their hands? Take a shot in this photo contest by Besty Dynako. The six best answers by USCF members received by Tuesday, January 20, Noon EST will get a one-year World Chess Live membership. (If you are a USCF member and haven't redeemed your six free months, upon winning you can get a total of 18-months.)

Contest Instructions


Submit your answers to [email protected] with the subject line being "Hands Contest" by Noon EST, January 20.

In a list numbered from 1 to 14, match each of the titled players below with their corresponding hand photo. For instance, if you think the first photo features Katerina Rohonyan's hands, you'd write 1. Katerina Rohonyan.

Include the full name with which you have a USCF membership (or include an ID Number) along with your answers. In the case of ties, the answers submitted earlier will be given priority.
