After a weekend spent boosting the International Space Station into a slightly higher orbit to get ready to meet an arriving Soyuz mission on October 14, Greg has returned his attention to the chessboard, selecting a solid opening system first introduced in international play in London in the 1920s.

The Stevenson team has prepared four responses to Greg's London System: 3...Bc8-f5, 3...e7-e6, 3...Nb8-c6, and 3...c7-c5.  You can analyze the alternatives in our Java chess viewer, or click here to see diagrams showing each alternative.

Now it's time for you to help choose Earth's reply.  Please vote by 1:30 PM ET (10:30 AM PT) today (Tuesday)
