At the Biel Chess Festival (Biel, Switzerland, July 20-Aug 1), GM Alexander Onischuk drew his fourth round encounter with Magnus Carlsen. Carlsen, who is inching toward 2800, is now tied for first with Alekseev of Russia, with Onischuk half a point behind. Look for a future onsite CLO report from GM Ian Rogers.
