The US Team in Norway: Big Battles Set for Round 3 Print E-mail

The Olympiad is underway in Tromso, Norway! The US board one, GM Hikaru Nakamura has not yet made it to Tromso due to delays and cancellations, but he is expected to arrive in time for round three. 

Both US teams won their first match 4-0, and their second 3-1. The men defeated Uganda and Colombia while the women played Finland and Belgium. Tomorrow's tests will be serious, with the men facing The Netherlands and the women playing against #1 seed, China.
