The World Team Championship begins today in Antalya, Turkey. The US squad consists of World #4 Hikaru Nakamura, US Champion Gata Kamsky and GMs Alex Onischuk, Varuzhan Akobian and Ray Robson.

IM John Donaldson is the captain and Wesley So is the team coach. Tony Rich of the Saint Louis Chess Club will also be in attending and will share photos from the scene. 

In round one, the US plays the Ukraine and the pairings are: Ivanchuk-Nakamura; Kamsky-Korobov; Moiseenko-Onischuk; Akobian-Kryvoruchko.
