WorldOpenslide.jpgThe World Open (Arlington, VA, June 29-July 7) schedules have merged and five GMs lead with 5/6 after six rounds: Lazaro Bruzon, Viktor Laznicka, Sergey Erenburg, Varuzhan Akobian & Quesada Yuniesky. Over two dozen GMs are competing in the event, which features $250,000 in projected prizes over nine sections.
