GoldKrush.jpgIrina Krush earned the gold medal for her 2600+ FIDE performance at the Women's World Team in Astana, Kazakhstan.  "the best result of my career", she told CLO enthusiastically. 

In round eight, she defeated Women's World Champ GM Anna Ushenina.


The US squad finished in sixth place. More photos from the closing ceremony coming soon.
