The PanAm is a collegiate tournament where different colleges face each other as a team. Each team is treated as an individual in a Swiss Paired tournament.

The College Committee will soon create a document containing the bidding requirements and procedures as well as the tournament rules which will be posted here.

The bid for the 2016 Pan-American Intercollegiate Team Chess Championships has been awarded.
