gataslide2.jpgThe two highest rated US players, Hikaru Nakamura and Gata Kamsky, face off on Friday, January 27,2012 at Tata Steel chess in Wijk aan Zee (January 13-29). GM Levon Aronian leads the event with 7.5/10.

Update 1/27/2012 12:45 PM EST: The game was a draw in the 9.0-0-0 line of the Dragon Sicilian.



Nakamura has 5.5/10 after two wins in a row in rounds five and six of the tournament.
 
Meanwhile, Kamsky has rebounded from a tough start to defeat David Navara in round 7 and Sergey Karjakin in round 10. He is now on an even 5/10.
