Watch a video interview by Macauley Peterson with Saint Louis Invitational champ GM Gregory Kaidanov. The event was also a qualifier for the US Chess Championship, allowing Kaidanov to maintain his streak of playing every US Chess Championship since he moved to the country in 1992.

From April 13-28 at the US Chess Championship at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis, Kaidanov will join 15 other players including Saint Louis Invitational runner-up GM Ray Robson and defending US Champion and World Championship candidate Gata Kamsky.

Watch a US Chess Scoop video with Macauley Peterson on covering Melody Amber, the US Chess Champs and his podcast, thefeb.com. Also see his video interviews from the Saint Louis Invitational with GMs Jesse Kraai and Alejandro Ramirez.
