Team USA in Norway: Shankland Stays Perfect

The US team drew Canada 2-2 today in the Open section of the Olympiad in Tromso, Norway (August 1-14). GM Varuzhan Akobian lost on board three while GM Sam Shankland evened the match, thus maintaining a perfect board score. The women's team defeated Azerbaijan 2.5-1.5.
